Want. Want. Want!!!!

13 feet tall, 9 feet in diameter, steel framework and a hardwood floor. How much do these things weigh? It must take a pretty serious tree to hold one up.

Wanty McWanterstein!

The other link to SYLVAN HOUSING says that one version would cost $100-250K. I have a cheaper solution: giant discarded polyethylene bottles. I've seen these things, formerly filled with hydrogen peroxide, stacked behind a water treatment plant. The thick polyethylene walls are not much biodegradable, if at all. They'd last longer than a house I think. Access to the top of the vat is through a screw hatch big enough for a normal(?) person's access. And these gigantic carboys would be just as effective buried as hanging from a tree. We could retire and live like squirrels!
