Altered Album Covers.
Several artists' creations on top of existing album art.
-
There's a distinct Gorey/Sendak influence over a lot of them.

Nice. I liked Sympathy for the Devil and the girl with the guitar one. My copy of Sign of the Times had a different cover, I noticed.

Now I know what to do with the STACK of LPs that I found last week out on the street. Mostly 70's ~ mid '80s stuff, from the first Black Sabbath album to the Sugar Hill Gang and in between. Most of the vinyl is heavily played (i.e., worn, scratched), so they're probalby not worth much - - but all of the sleeves and covers are intact and in fairly good condition. I was thinking to cut them up and collage or something - - but maybe this is a good route to go?
-
The Sign o' the Times cover was from the single, not the album. http://prince.org/msg/7/277547 It's a third or so down the page.
-
Sugarmilktea, I think the collage is a better idea.

Good, because I was quite anxious to cut up David Lee Roth's chest hair and place it upon Falco. I shall post results by the month's end.

Some of these are awesome. The White Album one pisses me off, though.
