BabyPictureFilter Who's got the cutest baby pics? Of yourself? Of your kids? Of some other relative? That you found randomly? POST 'EM!!!!

This is my long overdue sequel to the PetFilter.

  • i start with one of me, since i have no kids to show off. babyqueso
It was my first winter in Montreal, aged 2 1/2, in 1973.
  • I didn't have a camera when Mr. Whiskers was a kitten.
  • This is he only picture of young TUM I've got. I was either 3 or 4, but I can't remember which.
  • Was that before the neck implants?
  • (I will need to scan or take pictures of my baby pictures next week. I'm going away for the weekend.)
  • Wheeee! *runs riot* Here is me at 2 years old (with my Mum): Digging For Treasure and in turn - here is me with my son Elliot Mason: self portrait with elliot mason
  • It really pisses me of that when I was a toddler, my parents took absolutely NO digital images of me.
  • Okay here's me.
  • Wow, Gomi, you look just like your mother. Beautiful picture of you and Elliot.
  • My latest favorite one of Jack: 5/3/08b
  • The niece Renault, last Christmas: E1 This was before the male-pattern baldness set in.
  • My niece looking nervous and then, later in life, after discovering monkeys...
  • She more commonly looks like this: E
  • This is my 3 month old baby girl, Cora Lorraine, just a few days ago....
    Cora Lorraine
And I agree with Hillbilly, you do look just like your mom, Gomi. That's pretty awesome.

  • Aw thanks guys. Actually she would have been 58 today so she has been in my thoughts a bit more than usual. I think she was beautiful so I'm pleased to hear I look like her. (^__^)
  • *tickles all teh babies in the thread*
  • I LUBS THIS POST!!! It's 2:30 am, and I've got to leave early tomorrow for a road trip, but when I get back, GramMa expects to see lots of lovely lovely Monkeys!! Some serious squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee in this thread, even that Cheese kid! He was ADORABLE! What happened?
  • Oooooohh, look at the nekkid lil' nose picker! And the head of hair on that tiny baby. And those rosy cheeks! And the flirt with the beautiful eyes! And that Oh, So Serious look with a bit of drool! YOU CAN'T HANDLE THIS MUCH SQEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
  • Older boy (3.5) at a park in Massachusetts in July: Younger boy (1.5) in his nanny's garden around the same time:
  • This is a great thread, Queso - we should have done this long ago. But shouldn't it be 'Curious Baby George PictureFilter??
  • Is Baby Jack eating a stick? Have you trained him to fetch? IndigoRain, I think your mother and my mother must have gone shopping together at Red Calico Dresses R Us™.
  • Cap'n, I'm going to reach into my computer and eat your niece's cheeks right off her face. And yes, he's eating a stick, TUM. We figured he could use the roughage.
  • I suck at taking pictures of pictures, but here's MCT as a wee sprite: My last crush And me, age 3ish, on Christmas morning: My first crush
  • Since you asked... One of my young'uns - who is now TOO big at 4 years old! And SMT keeping it real circa 1973 or so... That's me feeding my sis, though she almost looks like a doll - she was so tiny!
  • The pants! The PANTS! MY EYES!!
  • That hat is the greatest thing ever.
  • Pimpin'.
  • Funny, I still remember that hat. I do get a kick out of seeing these pictures when I'm wearing it. I offended the 'pants Monster's eyes?!
  • It's kinda interesting how many pics are from 1973 (Cheesy's, mine, SMT's)... was that a big year for photography?
  • We'll need some current pics of your sister, smt. For, you know, comparative purposes.
  • Y'all are doing some serious damage to my theory that Jack is the cutest baby who ever lived. Stop it.
  • Simple solution: more 'stache. Friend of mine has a new baby. Sweet kid, but -- Lord, what an ugly chil'. *shudder*
  • She's a fine-looking lady, but her daughter definitely took after her father. Poor kid.
  • Here 'ya go, Capt. That's my little sister, for comparison purposes of course (though, she is still single!), holding her nephew. Shhh! Please don't tell her that I posted this, she HATES to have her picture taken and would probably slit my throat for posting...
  • I shouldn't really talk, SMT - I dimly remember having an entire pantsuit made of similar material.
  • Whatta cutie, smt! And the kid ain't bad either! Hey-O!
  • *head swirls* Let's see... she's into comics, fine wine, fine movies... She giggles uncontrollably when you walk on her back... What else am I missing?
  • sorry, hbs, Jack is really adorable, but so was I:
  • Lookee them golden curls!
  • A wee Flagpole seems annoyed at headgear selection.
  • Here's me on my 2nd birthday, scared and crying because of the flames on my cake. My mom said I was yelling for Smokey Bear--such a good little PC marketing schill I was! I currently look exactly like my mom in that photo, minus the cool glasses. It's rather uncanny!
  • it's not uncanny at all! your mom looks very cute & completely human!
  • Here's my little one covered in cake at her first birthday, and doing her best Gene Simmons impersonation.
  • Our friends' daughter in a still from the blockbuster movie of our roadtrip this summer around the Southeastern USA: Watch the movie – it's lots of fun!
  • meredithea: That first picture looks like a tiny Courtney Love!!! scartol: Best credtis sequence EVAR!
  • Here's my baby. She's holding my cousin's baby. And we're currently trying to make one of our own. No zygote yet, but heck I'll post a photo of the fetus once we get ourselves one. Amy holds a baby (gasp!) And before anyone asks, no, I will NOT post any images of Mrs. Frogs trying to make the kid in the first place! I also have an AWESOME shot of my brothers and I in matching red checkered shirts. Circa 1980 or so. I'm the one on the left. Notice how the pants become increasingly holey at the knees in smaller sizes thanks to the magic of Hand-Me-Downs. Only one of us ever had new pants was my older brother, and he had the nerve to complain about never wanting his kids to wear hand-me-downs...
  • My god, CLF, those cheeks and that smile! So chubby and cute! You look like the sort of kid that could've been in, like, an Oscar Meyer commercial from the 1970s or something.
  • Oh man! I hope I don't violate the maximum reasonable number of pictures to post!
    My Lucy.
My little Amelie, just born, on my Dad's lap.
Lucy and Me at the train station.
    Lucy and her cousin Kylee.
Lucy in front of the Zephyr at the Illinois Railway Museum
  • it's not a problem to post lots of pics of such a cute child!
  • Teeny supermodels!
  • I want a Zephyr!
  • I also have an AWESOME shot of my brothers and I in matching red checkered shirts. It's like Mini-Pops meets Hee-Haw. Glorious!
  • Hams part 2 I'll get around to taking a picture of my baby picture sometime. Kid #2 looks a lot like I did, though, except by her age I had more freckles.
  • Tracy, she's trying to make the patented Tracicle disapproving face! That's awesome :) And a coupla fine-looking kids.
  • wow Trac, they're getting sooooo big!! (and still adorable)
  • A more recent photo of the Niece Renault: Photobucket Year and a bit.
  • I keep going back to kittenhead's photo -- just the way she's recoiling from the cake...
  • TUM: Heh, I guess she does! Sometimes she does have the attitude!
  • Thanks for sharing your movie, scartol -- it was glorious! My fav bit was when you were feeding Max quarters.
  • Ma cousine Renault had her baby today. MoFi MoFi No details yet, and no name. They wanted to see what she looked like first. Suggestions welcome. The midwife made a "miscalculation", and so the due date was two weeks ago. Not an easy pregnancy, and apparently, not an easy birth, either. Details to be made available as they arrive. (A cousin's child is what to me -- my cousin once removed?)
  • Yes, your 1st cousin once removed. Based on the pictures, I'd call her "ScreamyCutie", but that's probably not a good suggestion.
  • It doesn't translate to Dutch very well. "GillenseAardigse"? Even for Dutch, you'd need a lot of phlegm to say it five times fast.
  • I wants to nom her appa cheeks.
  • "GillenseAardigse" They could call her Gil for short.
  • She's awfully sweet. Even when she's crying, she doesn't have that wrinkled, red-faced new baby thing going on that brand-new people seem to sometimes have. Very serene. I'd name her Serena. Probably not a popular Dutch name, though.
  • We have a name -- on this, the last day before the authorities gave her one on her behalf. And the winner is: "PUK EVI". Who had "Puk Evi" in the pool? Srsly. What the Puk? Apparently, it's a name from some children's book, but -- dood, srsly?!? Sure, kids are going to make fun of your name whatever it is, but you don't have to make it that easy for them, either. And not a typically Dutch name, either, not that typically Dutch names have been popular over the last twenty years. Jeez. Poor kid. It could work out, but in the meantime...
  • So, if you take too long and they give you a default name, do you then have to pay to get it changed once you decide?
  • Mon cousin Renault and his good lady wife had their baby on Monday (?). Photobucket Welcome, little Ties Julius. Eight pounds something. And one very happy Oma. (pron. "tees")
  • Is that a teeny tiny tuxedo hanging on the wall behind Oma? *faints*
  • choices Decisions, decisions.
  • Let me tell you the story of "Right Hand, Left Hand." It's a tale of good and evil. Hate: It was with this hand that Cane iced his brother. Love: These five fingers, they go straight to the soul of man. The right hand: the hand of love. The story of life is this: Static. One hand is always fighting the other hand; and the left hand is kicking much ass. I mean, it looks like the right hand, Love, is finished. But, hold on, stop the presses, the right hand is coming back. Yeah, he got the left hand on the ropes, now, that's right. Ooh, it's the devastating right and Hate is hurt, he's down. Left-Hand Hate K.O.ed by Love. [Radio Raheem]
  • This is a bit late to the party but OMG here's the latest shot of our little tadpole. Isn't he cute? We still haven't settled on a name yet, but we know he's a boy, and we know that all the tests so far say he and Mrs. Frogs are doing just fine. 20 weeks in, 20 more to go!
  • Never too late! Wheeeee! Hi Tadpole!
  • Why, he DOES look just like a tadpole. A very handsome tadpole, may I say.
  • Yay for the halfway mark!
  • Two days ago Mrs. Frogs felt the first wiggles. Kid is moving around and big enough to detect, hooray!
  • Tadpole wiggles!!
  • Yeah it's exciting at first - but it soon changes to "OH FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY STOP KICKING SO I CAN GET SOME SLEEP". And Mrs Frog will be saying the same thing. (Mind you I had one of those ones who kicked so hard you could see his feet through my skin. You might be luckier.)
  • Luckily mine seemed to sleep when I slept, but I had recognisable body parts under my ribs (heel) on the left and above my right hip (shoulder/elbow) by the time kid #2 was birthed. At 37 weeks she decided to roll over and I swear I thought I was in labour.
  • Squigs meets Dolphin: amazed at dolphin
  • That photo is AWESOME. Love the look on his face, love the way you've caught the reflection perfectly.
  • Heh thanks hon. We had fun here at the aquarium.
  • Monkey Boy at the Pool Wheeee!
  • Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Look at the adorable babby monkey!
  • CYOOT
