  • That's really cool. I've been playing a lot of Chess 960 at 64squar.es recently. This would be even more fun. You should get in touch with those guys and see if they'll support your variant.
  • This could be useful as a training tool for blindfold chess I would think. Smullyan would probably love this too.
  • Well, I DL'd the OS X version and it didn't work out so well. Each successive move took longer until eventually it locked up my computer. It sucks because I think I was winning at the time (I was a piece ahead). Strategically, I figured out that, somewhat like regular chess, it was important to keep all your pieces protecting each other. Pawn advances were also crucial. It was fun- let's hope they work out the bugs in the code.
  • What? No check mate? You just kill the other guys king? How lame
  • Plus kamus is right, the OS X version crashes several moves into the game once the game stops using it's book of openings.
