Huh. I just felt a bit of nostalgia for his worser films a couple of days ago and put "Omega Man" in my Netflix queue. Lo, a voice calling in the wilderness. RIP, Chuck. You were way too fanatical with the gun thing in a country that already loves the gun more than it should, but you gave us some good stuff too.

ashes to ashes, dust to soylent green.

Who needs Chuck when there is still Tom Cruise?
-
I've seen a lot of his movies lately, oddly enough. He certainly was one of a kind, wasn't he? What MCT said about the gun thing. RIP. You'll be missed.
-
I'd comment, but I'm too busy prying his gun from his cold, dead hands.
-
Now there's a joke I'm willing to bet we'll be seeing a lot of in the next few days.
-
i'm as moved by his death as he'd be by mine.

He's people! He's made of people! i wasn't absolutely sure before. Good god, i need a Hestonfest. "If I could, i'd smoke two, three of these a day."

Been her.

I heard a critic recently say something to the effect of no matter what role Heston was in, he was always playing Ben Hur. So true. He was always fun to watch. Hi ethylene!
