Pedal car deemed safe. A judge has decided that a human-powered car is safe for use on the streets of Toronto. The modified Buick was powered by the pedaling of the driver and up to three passengers and was complete with hand brakes and candle headlights.
  • hooray!
  • Pretty ridiculous. I sort of feel for the cop, he obviously had no idea how to deal with the situation and was worried about having his ass on the line. And he wasn't a huge dick about it or anything. Hooray justice!
  • I think you're all overlooking the obvious celebratory rejoinder here: YABA DABA DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  • I was *resisting* it Medusa.
  • Naah, it needs the driver to be barefoot; without the slap slap slap sound, it won't be the same.
  • Also a proper Flintstones car has to bump rhythmically every 2 seconds, so they need to put some servos in the suspension or something.
