It's stock-take time at British Zoos. Some animals appear to be co-operating. More pics.

  • There are 3,500 species of cockroaches. Fucking hell.
  • And most of them taste great.
  • I love that the cockroach exhibit is a dirty kitchen.
  • Animal census? But how do they sign the forms? Ha! I slay me!
  • I wonder if they could use a UPC scanner to keep track of the zebras.

  • I love the sign that says "Please queue here". And the penguins are.
  • When I worked food service during college, I once hand to count every plastic spoon in a bag that some bastard had opened the day before inventory. The bag was open, so the spoons had to be counted individually. (Turns out, it was only two spoons shy.) But at least the spoons stayed put when I counted them out into piles of 50!
  • Only two spoons? Perhaps he was caught up in an impromptu jug band and needed the spoons to play spoons with, and those two spoons were the only spoons he could find with which to spoon. So your hard work was not for naught, because jug bands are the shit.

DO NOT WANT. The lemurs rock!! I really, really neeeed a lemur. *furtively looks around, nabs uninventoried lemur and puts him into coat pocket* What? Who me? Oops, gotta go now.
