  • This is almost worth it, alone, for the absolutely bizarre conspiracy theory in the reader response comment at the bottom of the page. Cripes, some people are nutcases! But yes, village gossip.
  • Ooh yes, Dreadnought. I hadn't really read that. Looks like a heady brew of thinly veiled antisemitism with the Rothschild suggestion ("it was the Jews killed the Jews!" the creation of Israel, etc ad nauseum), use of the word "asset" for an intelligence agent implying too much reading of parapolitics (I should now) and the "Allied war-crime of Dresden." End on a smiley. Choc full o'nuts.

  • It's fun to read about the Mitford sisters. Jessica, aka Decca, so I read, loathed Diana, wife of Mosley, above all the other sisters, but loved Unity, who adored Hitler and shot herself in the head over him. Jessica was an active citizen here, with her husband Bob Treuhaft. Here's an article about the two of them.
