Kucinich booted from Iowa debate.
The Des Moines Register informed the campaign that Kucinich is not invited because the newspaper determined “that a person working out of his home did not meet our criteria for a campaign office and full-time paid staff in Iowa.” Once again, credit to the H Dogg.

STOP PICKING ON DENNIS, YOU BIG BULLIES!
-
They're afraid. That's what it is. Not really.
-
Yeah, he's doing so poorly, I can't imagine that they are truly threatened by him. Anyway, he's my choice.
-
I am likely to vote for Kucinich in the primary, but I do have to say that these debates with so many candidates are really horrible. They would be much better if they were limited to three people. Maybe they could choose three and let them go at it for thirty or forty minutes, and then switch to a new three? As it is, I get almost nothing out of the debates the way are being done now.
-
That's a great idea, 'nockle.
-
It was still interesting to see Obama lay the smackdown on Clinton. My dream is Obama/Kucinich '08.

Nice one, h-dawg. "...conservatives have been trained that they have the right to have judges issue rulings that produce outcomes they like, and when that doesn't happen, it means the judicial process is flawed and corrupt." Bit of an aside here, when I was articling, I was taught that when calculating one's win/loss figures, you 'win' if you correctly predict the outcome of your case, meaning that you can still win even if you lose, if you called it. If the outcome is different than you predicted, you didn't 'lose', but merely got a bad judge.
-
What is nice about Kucinich's situation is that, knowing his chances of actually making it to the election are pretty slim gives him the freedom to say things the other candidates don't dare to, and thus keep them a part of the discourse. It's the traditional role of the hopeless candidate, and Mr. K. wears it well.

Anyone want to theorise on the difference in smiles on CNN's primaries results graphic? (I put it here because I don't think it's worth a new post.)
-
Hard to smile when there's a pole up your ass.
-
So, basically only a tiny fraction of delgates have been allocated, and we can all look forward to months and months more plodding primaries? Also, I like Kucinich. I'm voting for him.
-
I like that next Tuesday is being called "Super Duper Tuesday". It's also Pancake Tuesday. This makes it "Super Duper Pancake Tuesday", so I'm really looking forward to it.

Edwards is out.

Giuliani is out.

Edwards is out? So this means Ann Coulter was right all along?

*smacks Ralph's face with hot pancake* Seriously, that's an old Monster family tradition. I guess you could call is "discomfort food."
