  • He should take the bus. Seriously, though, it seems like they could build the birdie a perch that's attached to the side of the shop, well above street level, so it wouldn't interfere with parking. He'd still be outside.
  • What's wrong with the sidewalk?
  • As the owner of two parrots and a student of thousands more, the parrot would be just fine inside. The store owner is doing this as a publicity stunt.
