Cypriot cave filled with dwarf hippos' remains.
For more information on the Cyprus Dwarf Hippotamus, contact the Canadian Wildlife Service in Ottawa a wikipedia link.

Every time I eat a dwarf hippo, I'm hungry three hours later.
-
Fascinating I remember these creatures got a frustratingly brief mention in David Attenborough's The First Eden, and I've been wondering about them ever since.
-
I've seen a pygmy hippo skull before - but didn't know there were dwarf hippos. In Cyprus no less. (They probably died out from religious infighting, given the nature of Cyprus.)
-
Pygmy hippos in the flesh are much cuter, however. Oh, teh squee!
-
They flick poo at you.
-
So do we!
-
In a cavern, in a canyon, Excavaaating for a dig, They found hippos; they were pips, though They were smaller than a pig.
-
Monkeyfilter: They flick poo at you.
-
In related news I didn't know that 'Cypriot' was the correct name for 'from Cyprus.'
-
Perhaps they're related to the secretive House Hippo (obligatory YooToob)
-
If only they'd had a jar of peanut butter
-
But, can little hippos learn to swim?
-
Also: a light snack.
