The Daily Coyote. "Charlie came into my life when he was just ten days old, orphaned after both his parents were killed. He lives with me and a tomcat in a one-room log cabin in Wyoming." [Via MeFi.]
  • saw these on mefi yesterday. beyond cute...so sweet...baby coyote...oowooooo!!
  • OHMIGAWDSOCUTE!!!!!! Jeeves, my insulin, quickly!
  • Brilliant photography. I hope the little guy manages to evade the coyote shooters and live a long and happy life.
  • Lovely. I too hope it goes well...
  • awwwwwww.
  • Sorry to be a downer on this lovely story, but that coyote will never survive back in the wild. It has been humanized. It will never readapt to wild living. That it displays some of its instinctual hunting tendencies is deceiving, and not surprising, but this is no indication that it will be able to fend for itself if released. If she wants it to live a full life, then she'll have to keep it.
  • How do you guys like to pronounce coyote? Do you say it kai-otee or kai-oat? I prefer the latter.
  • Why-Lee Coy-Oh-Tay, Soo-per Jeen-yus
  • It's Spanish.
  • Farmers pronounce it kai-oat for the most part, expecially if it's threatening their stock. Actually, in Spanish, it's coy-yoe-teh.
  • And, only we ancients use "expecially."
  • I thought it was injun.
  • He's lovely. I hope things go OK for him, lady and cat when he grows up.
  • "I thought it was injun." According the the wicktionary, it is: From Nahuatl coyotl.
  • I RULE!
  • Well, next time find it for yourself :)
  • :(
  • The whole point of ruling is that other people do your work for you.
