The World Beach Project invites you to make patterns on the beach with stones and send photographs which will feature in a gallery and worldwide map. Devised by Sue Lawty and operated by the V&A.

Only two contributions from North America so far - I'm sure you can do better than that.

  • I might have to go to the beach, now
  • Only two contributions from North America so far - I'm sure you can do better than that. The beach is a little chilly this time of year, but I'll do my best.
  • Does it have to be ocean or lake beach? Cuz I found some river mud art.
  • Whoa, cool! Mini-Stonehenge, very nice. Too bad I don't have a beach.
  • too hard
  • I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied; And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying, And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying. I will live by the snot-green scrotumtightening sea again one day. I will!!
  • I miss the sea too. Let's buy a beach house!
  • Has to be on the Oregon coast. Ah, I can envision a meet-up at Koko's place.
  • I'd happily live on either of the North American coasts. Just let me stay out of the cities. I'll shell Scollops for a living.
  • Ah, well- that'd be east coast of Canada, 'cause everywhere else they have skaahllops. Come visit!
  • I'll see your scollops and sell some sea shells down by the sea shore.
  • You'll not see my scollops unless you buy me dinner and a movie.
  • You're such a trollop, Ralph.
  • Your scollops aren't worth a dinner and a movie. OK, maybe the dog's dinner and a bad movie.
  • I must go down to the beach again, To the lonely beach with its scollops. And all I ask is to sell seashells, And have dinner with a trollop.
