And timely: I'm just reading The Mercurial Emperor - The Magic Circle of Rudolf II in Renaissance Prague which is quite good and contains some interesting information but isn't brilliantly written which seems to be the problem with a lot of historical writing. sigh Thanks for the links, pleg!
  • That's interesting - I thought all the seasons were at the Louvre, but the exhibition site says summer and winter are from Vienna. Maybe there are multiples?
