"I am now a heavenly body..." An asteroid is named after the fabulous George Takei. (He just keeps getting more and more awesome -- you Americans should make him your King or something...)
  • [SPOILER REDACTED], or Tim Kring is going on my watch list. That is all, Oh, and congrats on the space rock, Mr. Takei! And any time you want come over and read the phone book for me...
  • How long do we have to appreciate his earnest eccentricities before he takes the dark road to self parody?
  • Queen surely?
  • I like him. Great voice.
  • An asteroid? Surely a star or some other flaming object would be more appropriate.
  • lol gay!
  • Hang on a second DID SOME ASSHOLE SPOIL THE NEXT HEROES? You know most of the planet hasn't seen the new series yet, do you????? /shrill
  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  • Arf, sorry. I'm here in my ethnocentric EST time zone bubble.
  • I ♥ Sulu!
  • How incredibly cool, couldn't have happened to a more appropriate person. I agree with the Capt., he just gets better and better. Take this, for example.
  • I love that clip kinnakeet. George Takei is seriously funny.
  • you Americans should make him your King or something We already have made someone our King, and I and Congress have been following him loyally into battle ever since.
  • are there Klingons orbiting his asteroid?
  • When I saw him with his starfleet shirt off doing martial artistic whatever on the Original Star Trek, I thought "definitely NOT a heavenly body". Yes, he has become "Shatner Lite" (a not unwise career move) and provides a special public service for those disappointed that their Kirk/Spock slash fiction could never come true. But just being the only Asian actor of his age that the masses can remember is job security enough... he was as inevitable to play Hiro's father as Charlie Chan's #1 Son was invevitable as Master Po on 'Kung Fu'.
  • ...only because Pat Morita was dead.
  • Hank, are you not able to torrent the eps? I watched 2.2 last night. So far, progress is low.
  • yeah, but I haven't WATCHED them yet. And they haven't been on Aus tv anyway so there shouldn't be any spoileries for people that don't pyrate. :( *pout*
  • Uh, it was, er, a typo! Yeah, that's it! I meant to say, "Nakamura Kaito had better not really be Dad!" Yep, that's what I meant.
  • Won't spoil it for the non-US monkeys, but WHO THE HELL SAW THE END-OF-EPISODE PLOT TWIST TONIGHT COMING?!?!?!?!?!? Because I'm stupid enough to admit that I did not. At all. And thank God the interest took a strong uptick with it.
  • Good stuff tonight as well, with the stuff I won't ruin for you. This season's finally getting really interesting for me. Just please, no more sappy scenes with Claire and Superboy flying around all lovey.
  • I didn't see your comment from last week until just now, mct, but I didn't see it either. Let's have a collective forehead-slap? Just waiting a while for a good torrent for tonight's ep...
  • A little disappointed tonight - too many questions still left unanswered.
  • Yeah. I'm still not getting the Guatemalan chick's death-tears. Nor do I understand how Peter's clothes survived him asploding.
  • I don't know, I think they'll have to show Maya's power another 4 or 100 times for us to get it. And WHY didn't we get any 4-month backstory on Parkman, Mohinder, Molly, the Bennetts...? And not trying to spoil so I won't go into details, but nobody could survive that long with burns that bad. They'd die of infection within a week or two. And they'd be sedated for the pain. Oh, and I saw last week's twist coming a mile away, mct. But it was still TOTALLY AWESOME. Now they have three weeks to resolve the entire plot. I'm expecting three kickass episodes to follow.
  • Peter's clothes, are magic, goddamn it. Don't make me explain this again.
  • I wondered about Mohinder et al, but I figure they've just been playing Two Men and a Little Girl for four months. (Don't forget spoilers!)
  • The magical properties of Peter's clothes are such that they automatically know when to leave the room.
