  • ok in advance please forgive my negativity, i admittedly have a very bad attitude about web awards - they're simply ridiculous. but holy lawd, a category for best tagline...?! the lengths bloggers will go to pat themselves on the back apparently knows no bounds, and continues to hit lower and lower levels. too many of these poor souls need to disconnect and start focussing on achievements in meat space.

  • Weblogs where everyone is invited to post. Everyone indeed. And what t r a c y said. Anyone who's reading Margret Cho's web log regularly needs to spend a little more time out of doors.
  • Yay Metafilter! I'm impressed to see Matt's sites nominated so many times, and I'm glad I'm not so shut off from the *shudder* blogosphere that I haven't heard of the other nominees.

  • Best Community Blog = where "everyone" is allowed to post. Best Group Blog = written by an exclusive group. Shouldn't MeFi be in the latter category?
