Your Swingin' Pad
is a Flickr collection of interior design photos from various decades you won't want to miss. The thumbnail gallery itself looks like an oriental rug.
Wow, this is a bookmarker. Makes me miss The Sims.
What the hell were they putting in the water back in the 70s to impair our senses so utterly? Really groovy find, petebest. Makes me want to kick off my platforms and bury my toes in a neon-pink shag rug, while gazing at my wall photomural of the Pacific ocean.
I wish they'd bring the wall photomural back. Those things are so great.
Which was the Woody Allen movie where he had this on the wall of his apartment?
What the hell were are they putting in the water back in the 70s 2000's to impair dull our senses so utterly?
The 70's rocked in every way.
...and I am so making a rasterbated wall mural this weekend.
Like, wow, man!
That is some funky stuff.
Dy-no-mite!
All right, that's enough. I want you kid outta this thread.
Next thing you'll be wearin bell bottoms and peace medallions, goin' to Burning Man, and riding around in a '60s psychedelic painted bus with a collection of rubber anatomically correct private parts attached to the back.
That's just the start. Then you'll start doin' pressed hams against the bus window and shockin' god-fearin' Republican cun ladies.
Aw, GramMa, can't we just stay up for Three's Company?
Wow. These are incredible. I think 'Macrame Elegance' just says it all.
Those people was high on drugz!
I used to make macrame whatsits. Wonder whatever happened to them.
I still have some of my macrame plant hangers hanging around with potted plants in them.
That weird macrame owl thing, though, it went away. Far away.
That photoset has provided much entertainment now for many of my boomer friends. One commented, I wonder how many petrochemicals went into the creation of those rooms, once you factor in the polyester, acrylic, lucite and Formica. Not to mention the nylon cord used for macrame. Some of the decor grows more stupifying with each viewing. I'd like to find just what the designers were smoking and get me some.
