Yellowstone National Park
spans three huge calderas and sits atop one of the largest super volcanoes in the world.
Dubbed "The Beast" by scientists, it's long overdue for a nasty rampage. WE ARE DOOMED.

That's okay. When the volcano blows, the seismic shift will be so great that the Canary Island landslide it causes will set off a monster tsunami, which will hit the East Coast and extinguish all the lava.

But the landslide will also cause a Limnic Reaction and all the CO2 will come out of the sea and gas us, follwed by the flames from the methane ice. And then the aliens will put this particular petri dish in the bin.
