YouTube has a new (old) trick. YouTube appears to have (finally) gained a feature that Google Video has long had: The ability to click anywhere on the video's playback bar and have it instantly start playing - even if that portion hasn't pre-loaded (gone 'red') yet.

Click anywhere in the gray - you don't have to wait any more. You'll know it's working if the pre-loaded red bar starts filling in from the spot you clicked (instead of the usual filling of the entire bar from start to finish).
