Prime Vertebrae:
PZ Myers discusses the critical difference between having six or seven cervical vertebrae.

thanks homunculus, that first article was a surprisingly fascinating read.
-
Very interesting. I've always found genetics fascinating.
-
Oddly enough, I've seen a few men in my time that I think may have only had two or three vertebrae. Hardly enough for a bow-tie. And I've never seen a horse in a bow-tie. Wazzup with that?
-
Really interesting stuff. It's a shame we won't see any puppies with insect eyes. Actually, that would be creepy. Like that 'Green Patches' story by Asimov(?) BlueHorse, having just learned how to tie a bow tie, I can say that hooves would not help.
-
Absolutely fascinating! Makes me want to go get an X-ray.
-
You've got some neck, posting that
-
The author of the article has been receiving threats from a nutcase, lately.
