  • Whoa! Crazy Buggers.
  • Wowzer! Apparently, with those really tall waves, the water at the base is only about 4 feet deep, with jagged coral and rocks below. Or is that somewhere else? Either way, don't fall off, or they'll never find all of you. I went surfing once, for a weekend in Newquay. Eventually stood up on the board at 4pm on Sunday, at which point I quit, having achieved something. The earlier bloody nose was a bonus.

  • Gnarly! The heavies at half-moon are the hairiest crests around, bra! When you're shreddin' a Bombora and it starts to barrel you can just cut back and tube in the green room, dude. Just try not to get too amped in the bone yard or you'll eat it in a cruncher and get yerself a sand-facial! Later, hodads!
