  • Nice link, Argh. I'm bookmarking this one. Lotsa tasty recipes... that green bean quinoa salad looks like it's gonna be dinner one night this week for sure. Now I'm wishing I had something more interesting than a frozen meal to look forward to for today's afternoon repast.
  • Two weeks ago was The Week of the Perfect Sammiches. I went to the place downstairs Monday and got a custom-made sammich, which I hardly ever do. But they made me the most perfect tofu wrap I'd ever had, so I went back each day and each sammich was more perfect than the last. Then a bunch of people came from vacation and the lines got too long. But that's actually better, because no good-sammich-streak can last forever and I'd rather go out on a strong note. This past Saturday I had the most awesomest falafel pita from a street vendor. The salad and cucumer sauce were cool and sweet, the falafel was firm yet yielding, and the ratio of tahini to hot sauce was optimal.
