Demotivators, a spin on the always-annoying motivational posters.

There's also a store with a build your own calendar, wearable stuff (including onesies), and the brilliant Pessimist's Mug, among other, horribly depressing but oddly amusing, stuff.

  • I want a copy of this book. Oh look, it's my half birthday tomorrow!
  • These were a lot more fun in 1999, when they first were introduced. But maybe now they have cheezeburger captions.
  • How embarrassing! Then again, this may finally get me that much sought after badge of honor, an Eeked post. *Gives Tracicle doe-eyes*
  • Amusing. =)
  • Oh, I don't think it's been posted before on MoFi, it's just that folks with too much time on their hands and no lives enterprising Internet surfers such as many of us monkeys have already come across it many moons ago. But who cares? Much like The Onion or Homestar Runner, it's good to reminded of it every once in awhile. I love the Pessimists' Mug too.
  • It is a real treat to discover Despair for the first time, minda25. At a certain point in your life you are exposed to the motivational posters. It is good to have the anti- at your disposal then, or shortly afterwards. The pictures are so well photographed. The captions twist the knife.
  • I've seen it before, and I welcome the chance to see it again! My boss has one of these on his wall, I noticed today.
  • It's actually this one.
  • I've been a roll-your-own type myself, so I was happy to see that despair.com now has a Demotivator Generator...
  • Me too, MCT! Wrybaby rules! Now if they'd just charge a little less for their onesies... I really like Diaper Dude, too. His Pink Camo Dragon Onesie is just about the most awesome thing I've ever seen. Wendell, that's a perfect sentiment for my current workplace. Does this mean I don't get my first eeked post after all?
  • No! No eek for you!
  • I have this one in my office.
  • I like Diaper Dude's nappy bag with skull & crossbones. But 25 bucks for a onesie? Ouch!
  • Ha Ha! No eek for Ralph. Looks to me like this post us a fair example of what demotivation can produce, eh?
  • Yeah, but who cares really?
