Walls and Gated Communities

The area houses the civilian ruling authority run by the Americans and British and the offices of major US consulting companies.

To do so he has to slip through a gap in the new wall the American army is building to isolate the district of Adhamiya, scene of terrible episodes of violence. Once finished, the barrier will be 5km long and 3.5m high: an obstacle that people will have to overcome every day to get to work or school.
