Sand sculptures archive (incredible) <--Mucho linkage. (previously)

Also rewarding is a search of Flickr for "sand sculpture" or "sand sculpture festival", which turns up things like Brighton 2005 pool and this very popular Brazilian sandgirl (NSFW?). Some of these people have taken Sand Castles and steampunk to a whole new level.

I'm hoping for more rain, so it can get washed back. Ironically, the tardily-placed sandbags may prove a hinderance... * for "sand" read "aggregate"
