From the jaws of a shark comes a ripping yarn
The shark had the diver's head in its jaws, but marine experts say it chewed him then spat him out when it realised he was not a seal.
"He was actually bitten by the head down," said a friend and fellow diver. "The shark swallowed his head."

The worst part is that now he's known as the guy who gave head to a shark.

Lucky man - I understood from another story he'd hit the shark with a pick used for loosening abalone. Also, he was wearing a weighted vest rather than a belt: the shark's second bite was on the vest and this might have saved the diver.

Pretty chilling story. Thought it was a bit unusual for a white pointer attack in NSW - usually it's SA or WA. (NSW = New South Wales, SA = South Australia, WA = Western Australia)

What a story! The guy's got a great attitude. I do find it amazing that he continued to dive there even though he knew he'd get attacked eventually... Also, I was thrown off several times by the odd and frequent use of the phrase "would have.
