Bendito Machine
is a bizarre Flash animation by Peruvian born Jossie Malis. You can see more of his peculiar films in Zumbakamera, his production company's website.
And if bizarre is your cup of tea, here's Richard Nixon playing the piano on telly. (Yeah, that nixon).

Thanks for the link xenmate. I really like this - especially the animations.
-
Superiorly grand! Thanks for the post xenmate. *places self in an animated trance*
-
awesome! i want to live there...
-
This particular animation is also highly reminiscent of Wayang Kulit (Indonesian shadow puppets). /Indo drop

I was thinking of the shadow puppets, too. I recently saw Lotte Reiniger's "Prince Achmed," which blew me away.
-
Fascinating, TUM. Where did you see Prince Achmed? I'm thinking I need to see it...
-
Late one night on Trner Classic Movies' "Silent Sundays." Sadly, it looks like they've got no plans to rerun it soon, and it's not on DVD.
-
Figures! *stands behind a dark curtain and cries*
-
TUM, it does seem to be available on DVD. And, I'm completely tempted...
-
Ooh, and it's a restored print with original score!

The Wiki has some excellen still images. Thanks, TUM! I love how a thread can bring to light small unknown jewels... This is definitely "up my alley."
