FFS: The site even lets you post with the user name "anonymous" if you're shy. I hate AnonAskMe with the heat of a trillion suns, and now it's going to get that much worse. Thanks, NPR.
-
Hi, moooshy! Got your own MeTa thread and all!
-
'Twas a dark, dark day when young Melody entered all our lives...
-
Huh. I wish there was a way to find out how these numbers compare: # of hits her post sends to AskMe versus # of hits MeTa sends to her post Something tells me the scales will be tipping rather heavily in one direction.

Does her story count as a self-link?
-
Does NPR know she's a member?
-
The site even lets you post with the user name "anonymous" if you're shy. Somehow I doubt moooshy/Melody would ever choose this option.
-
This has got to be one of the most depressing posts on MoFi. *shakes fist at MJK and NPR* *hangs head and walks away*
-
How so, SMT? Monkez is da bezt!
-
I suppose you realise that the existence of Melody's article gives Wikipedia cause to keep the AskMe article.
-
"I'm a self-promoting, self-deluding hack 'journalist.' It's what I do."
