Toys from Eaton's in the catalogues of the now defunct Canadian department store.

See aslo an Eaton's Christmas. via

  • I want that Give-A-Show Projector, and I want it NOW. Great find, islander!
  • What the hell's a Crokinole? )))
  • I haven't forgotten ye, Monty! Look here, who's got my transparent Vicks-jar-blue celluloid bathtub duck?!
  • Crokinole's good fun, once your fingeybones get used to the bruising.
  • Whachoo call me?
  • Croakin' ol' hag?
  • *mails live Atlantic lobster to west coast via parcel post*
  • tick, whatever that last is, it comes across as illegible here.
  • Exxxcellent! Psst, bees: I was really sending snark islander's way, but I find in general it's easier to read people's teeny-tiny comments if one copies & pastes them somewhere. And then there's the bifocals.
  • ... bifocals. Implanted lenses avoid all that bother. Recommended one not ride into projecting twigs, though. But then, that's always been recommended. ;]
  • Just got the chance to check out the link. Great find islander! Reminds me of the NYC Yellow Pages-sized Sears Wishbook that we drew our Christmas lists from as kids.
