OMG, I totally had Electronic Quarterback. I sucked at it, too.
-
So did I. I also had quiz wiz and marksmen. I really had fun with quiz wiz. The even had toys for girls, look at all those strollers, for when you grow up to be mommy's while daddy goes off to work. Oh and look the hollie hobbie oven, so you can practice cooking daddy dinner. I kid!

This is awesome - thanks Argh! I didn't have any of these things (Coleco weren't so big in the UK), but I'm just about to sell Grandstand Invader from Space on eBay.

Quiz Wiz -- what a great "toy".. How the standards for handheld games has fallen. But apparently Tiger took another shot at it in 93. Why isn't there another one out now? Sob!

Also had Electronic Quarterback. We figured it out and literally wore the buttons clean down to nothing.
-
Electronic QB was trivially easy once I figured it out (F-F-F-U-F-D, repeat), and it wasn't fun anymore.
-
I was doomed to many boring days inside and alone with the Electronic QB. That game sucked. I think it was regifted to me in 1983. I also had that shit-piece Lil Genius calculator thingy. If I recall correctly, I dismantled it after getting bored with my Radio Shack crystal radio set.

My step sister had 2XL He was cutting edge robot technology.
-
I also had one of these (my first game console), with the K.C. Munchkin game mentioned in the article.

There's my hockey game (the one on the bottom)!
