Homosexuality and the right. One Republican's take on the advocation of And Tango Makes Three in Shiloh Elementary School, Shiloh, Illinois.

Faux news treatment After I read the screed I actually imagined the world that these kinds of people fear: Children growing up thinking, "ask the person I like to dance." The complete lack of presupposed notions at grade school sock-hops where, "I must ask a girl to dance." The complete lack of awkwardness and festering, internalized social terror when someone is told, "No, thanks," rather than slurs and possible violence. Imagine all the people who wouldn't be divorcing at 45 years old from their opposite sex partner in order to persue the sexuality they had repressed since they learned to read. And the only reason for it was because it was neither there for them nor the people, like this twat, who would perpetuate gay bashing by buying into preserving the "sanctity" of this socially injust lacuna. Yet, way back in the 19th century The Wide Awakes would tear down the south to free the slaves. Amazing. At 30 years, this had only occurred to me now, maybe because I'm a breeder, maybe this is what that lacuna in my education has done. But I thought it was significant enough a realization.
