Is that a Japanese site or segment? I watched it and I enjoyed it. I am fascinated by humor in other cultures. As such, I am wondering if this actually is Japanese in origin.

Yes, it is Japanese, with the comedy duo the Rahmens. I believe the english subs were done as a fansub though.
