Network 2.0
- Finally, a fairly comprehensive list of original shows on the internet that's organized and has a user-friendly interface. The question is, will anyone watch?
This site was recently created by Jeff Pulver of Vonage, and I think he's done a really nice job. Of course, I'm biased because my show, Something To Be Desired is on the list, but so are the rest of your favorites, including Tiki Bar TV, the show with ze frank, Goodnight Burbank and more, and you can actually navigate it.
-
I'll start off by offering A working link
-
"I'm biased because my show, Something To Be Desired is on the list," Does this count as a selflink?
-
Damn it. I'd originally put it in as www.network2.tv then took out the www, but I accidentally left it as .network2.tv Shoot. Sorry about that. Does it count as a self-link? My show is one of literally hundreds, and I think it's a good site.
-
Aye, yer fooked now lad. Yer only hope is that the Tracicraken only kills ye once and takes yer booty. Ahhrr. *retreats into darkness*
-
Get it before the name is copyrighted, Democracy.
-
Would you please stop putting your self-link into your threads? You did this elsewhere. It's annoying. Also, saying "I think it's a good site" usually means it isn't. Please. Stop it.
-
Dude you don't want to see tracicle angry, you wouldn't like her when she is angry.
-
Again, sorry. From the MonkeyFilter FAQs: Self-links aren't allowed as the main link in posts, and full disclosure is expected at any other time. As a secondary link, or a link in a comment, it's fine. I thought it was fine, and actually, when I did it before, it was meant as a joke. And what kind of ridiculous crap is that, if you say a site is good, that means it's probably not? Oh, I see. I've woken the beast.
-
Yeah, Democracy is good, too. There are just so many sites that supposedly host all these shows, but their interfaces are terrible, and I would include iTunes in that list.
-
And what kind of ridiculous crap is that, if you say a site is good, that means it's probably not? Only w/r/t a self-link. As in, you're too close to the subject to judge whether it's good.
-
I see, Koko. That's a good point. Perhaps I got a touch combative. I need to go have a piece of fruit.
-
Try kiwi.
-
What's the link for kiwi? It's too common a word for me to find what you're referring to.
-
Indeed, what is the link for kiwi? The link for kiwi is not found, the kiwi finds you. Do the internets not contain links for us to follow, but provide passages to lead ourselves into the internets? Am I referring to a common word, or have I become the word, and the word is Web? What is the link for kiwi? What is the link for YOU?
-
Again with the internets? How many of these things are there?
-
Also, um, what?
-
The schark has jumped itself.
-
My fault. I ate the kiwi, link and all. It was del.icio.us.
-
*bags planned tagline, applauds fish tick* Aaaaaand we're out. Great thread people! Romans, leave your shields and spears with Terry, Funkateers don't forget to help us take apart the UFO and get it back to stage5!
-
-
Did Berek move to NY?
-
Also, I recommend the non-dairy kiwi.
-
Could you imagine Berek doing an acting gig? Oh, the hilarity.
-
"Internets" = George Bush-speak for "Internet," first heard in a presidential debate in 2004. Jokingly used by lefty website posters to mock said inarticulate President. As for how many there are, I'm guessing "five."
-
Get with the programme, actor-boy!
-
When from hunger I faint weakly, I will eat the humble kiwi. To nutrition it's the key, we Really need to eat one weekly. We can see the kiwi's keen, Graceful, growing glowing green. We keep kiwis 'til we eat, And wash 'em down with winter wheat.

Har! 000 Kiwis for TUM!
