  • For those, like me, who love riding horses but who are allergic to horse hair, there is the naturally hypoallergenic Bashkir Curly Neddie.
  • Okay, Six, I'll admit there is a wee little chance of getting lacerated while bathing your felidae; however, I've only ever had to have the Rabies vaccine course once, and I've lost count of the number of cats I've bathed... like so many aspects of life it's definitely easier if you pay someone else to do it
  • I've heard that, if you start them very young, that cats will accept regular baths.
  • a friend started to bathe her cat during a heat wave a few years back. even though the cat was six or seven years old, she accepted the bath as a way to cool down in the 42ºC heat. i'm not sure if they continued this in the winter, however.

  • just don't ever attempt to use a blowdryer on the cat... /not that I would know from personal experience!
