Curious, George: What is in a name? DJ who?

So I do this modest little DJ thing at a bar, and people always ask me what my DJ name is. I really think most DJ monikers/tags/names are cheesy, and I never wanted one. Then I thought I could actually have some fun with the name. So, any suggestions? I am looking for some humor here.

  • Heaven forbid a rapper or a DJ go by anything resembling a normal name. I would like to hear a rap group called the Charles Donovan Trio or something. Similarly, you could be known as Bucky Goldstein or something.

  • DJ Tone Def was chosen for the phonological ambiguity. Def is slang for great or excellent but sounds like deaf, and tone is slang for gun. However, I should have googled it before I posted. There is at least one DJ Tone Def already out there.
