Jeffs's cultists debate Warren Jeffs's defenders and apostates discuss his capture and what that means for the cult he heads.
  • Truly amazing comments in that link! I wonder how many of those posters are the old farts who got the young girls to pork.
  • It's amazing how the kept get to a computer only to post in support of their slavers.
  • Wow. That's an interesting read. What really surprises me (and I suppose it shouldn't) is the length that his followers will go in their own minds to believe he's innocent. And that they'd rather believe that even the video footage and pictures are a fabrication than believe that he broke his own rules about clothing. I guess we all have our delusions, but man.
  • Dah ya think most of 'em have a little problem with there speling and punchuashion?
  • Yes. Funy how that hapens when yu dont hav skool to go to.
  • The original LDS gave up polygamy as a tenet of the faith in order for Utah to be able to become a State. These folks are simply being true to the original Mormon way and never gave in to the pressure. But they all wear the special holy undies so they at least have that in common.
  • Holey undies need to be throne out.
  • LDS insists they have nothing to do with the fundamentalists.
  • "LDS insists they have nothing to do with the fundamentalists." That strikes me much like a wolf saying he has nothing to do with the chihuahua.
  • This is, in some ways, a followup to my earlier post about the organization's pro-polygamy rally. (Does this count as a self-link?) Just as the major news outlets failed to cover the fact that the group that held the rally was connected to Warren Jeffs, they also failed to mention the connectionwhen Jeffs was arrested just a couple weeks after the rally. It seems obvious to me that this rally was nothing but a pr move meant to gain sympathy for their group and Jeffs specifically. Of course heaven forbit journalists would take ten minutes and look beyond the press releases...
  • Genetic problems in Jeffs' sect due to inbreeding.
  • Colorado City resident Isaac Wyler says FLDS Prophet Warren Jeffs is trying to create the "perfect race." A perfect race for the circus, I'd wager.
  • The perfect race turns out to be the fumarase.
  • I wonder how many of those posters are the old farts who got the young girls to pork. Or indeed the younger farts who one day hope to get all the young girls to pork. Boy, would it suck for them if they'd stood out of the old farts' way all these lonely years, patiently waiting for the guaranteed young-girl-porking, only to have the cult break up now.
  • TUM, I have one thing to say to them "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww."
  • Of course heaven forbit journalists would take ten minutes and look beyond the press releases... But that would cut into the time they spend reading mofi at work...
  • Or indeed the younger farts who one day hope to get all the young girls to pork. Those little farts get forced out so as to reduce the pool of competitors for the fartettes. I said "little farts get forced out." Do I get a cookie?

  • Well, it's better than nothing. *passes out*
