Long and awkward- Wanna know the real reason your camera records video? It’s so you can enjoy a good laugh while making friends and loved ones look silly.

You see, when you hold up a camera, people expect you to take a photograph, not a video. So flip your camera into video mode and pretend like you’re taking a photo. Feign technical difficulties while your bud tries patiently to hold his smile and you’re virtually guaranteed an amusing minute or so of strained footage. Via Photomojo

  • even better was the film I accidentally took in Italy, whilst trying to take a still photo but the camera was in film-mode. great "footage" of random angles as I explain to hubby that the camera is not working, then my exclamation "oh! I'm taking a movie?" (sorry not presently available for viewing)
  • wow, of all the films of you NOT to be available for viewing, i wouldn't have expected it to be this one...
  • 29?
  • eeQ - HA!
  • Hehehe that's a cool and cruel idea. I was the unofficial video man for my brothers wedding reception. There is apparently a sequence lasting about 10 minutes where the camera is pointed at a wall while I talk to someone, forgetting the camera is rolling. My mouth is right by the microphone, and you can hear my drunken rambling, interspersed with, "Yeah another pint would be great thanks anyway....".
