Giant 29lb 12oz hamburger

The last picture tells the tale, methinks.

  • Ew meat. =P
  • Looks like a pretty fun Sunday. Mind you, if that burger was meant for just one person, that'd be a tad disgusting.
  • But it's so small.
  • Pretty cool, but I'm kind of wary about 30 pounds of raw meat coming out of something that says "Valu-Pak".
  • Hmm... grover96, that just makes me wonder (in a creepy way) why an older heavyset Texan would wish to move to Thailand. Eeeeew.
  • Has someone posted the 100 x 100 burger from In and Out? That had some lovely raw meat in it.
  • When it crosses the 12 ounce point, a hamburger becomes meatloaf.
  • Doesn't meatloaf have to have bread products inside it? (I grew up in a non-meatloaf family and have never discovered its homestyle secrets). If it is meatloaf, it's certainly doing it with panache.
  • I didn't know it was possible to grow up without meatloaf...
  • Meatloaf needs some "filler" but that can be bread, bread crumbs, oatmeal, or really any kind of cooked grain. I dare say one could even use a legume like lentils, although I haven't tried it myself.
  • If you squint while looking at that picture, you can see Pac-Man eating a big burger.
  • This seems like an appropriate moment to mention the stomach of that celebrated guzzler, Diamond Jim Brady.
  • Has someone posted the 100 x 100 burger from In and Out? The bread-to-meat ratio in that is unacceptable. Meatloaf needs some "filler" but that can be bread, bread crumbs, oatmeal, or really any kind of cooked grain. Ritz crackers are great in meatloaf. Add a dash of onion powder and a few eggs, and you got yerself a manly meatloaf.
  • MonkeyFilter: You got yerself a manly meatloaf Ain't that the truf!
