It is a vibrator for your iPod, there I said it. The front page is kinda SFW. I didn't delve too deep into the site because, I am at work.

I didn't want to post two threads in one day, but damn it this Friday has been fruitful.

  • Methinks the ladies would require something in the 133 bpm range
  • So how satisfying is it with a Nano unit? Not that the answer is of any relevance to me whatsoever. Seriously. Stop laughing.
  • /laughs at Renault, feels better about self
  • *Ah-bullshit!CHOO!*
  • This is a lot like something called "rock n' roll pants" I read about back in the eighties. You connected them to your walkman and presumably strolled about town.
  • Dude. There's a reason why there's a limit to one post a day. Choose one of the two and stick with it.
  • I don't wanna be a sourpuss, but ooga_booga has a point. I don't think our lives would've lost out on incredible enrichment if you'd put the post on your Notepad for the day and posted it tomorrow morning.
  • So how satisfying is it with a Nano unit? It's not the model of your ipod but the variety of your playlist what matters... Ah, what sourpusses. Hey, it's friday! This damned world might go boom any moment now, we need all the smiles and vibration we can get & give! *keeps putting a happy face. No matter what. Really.*
  • My girlfriends says my playlist is long enough, but I have doubts.
  • What? No iPod butterfly? This was obviously designed by a man.
  • I bet the owners of rock 'n roll pants strolled about to the nearest secluded bathroom. Considering the amount of sad bastard indie rock I listen to and the low power of the vibe, I don't think I would be, uh, feeling the music. But I like the cock cozy!
  • /iPodfilter
  • Is it the shape, or the throbbing bassline?
  • "It is a vibrator for your iPod..." I asked my iPod if it wanted a vibrator and it said "no" and suggested that I should check out a bit more porn on the net so I would know where those things actually go....
  • I would guess the "1 FPP/day" limit is a whole lot more pertinent on pages like meta, where, erm, there are a lot of posts, not here, where, erm, there are not. The whole Net Curmudgeon bit smacks too much of the STFUNOOB, +o, RTFM webgrump culture that, quite frankly, is about as useful and fun-to-watch as a double FPP. Just my $0.02.
  • Aiming for quality, rather than quantity? Well, this certainly fubared that one.
  • Dude, he had to wait tell he got home to even look at the link he posted himself. But even though he had to wait to find out how interesting the link was, for some reason he couldn't wait to post it? The exceptions to the 1 per day rule are for links that are too awesome to wait. It obviously wasn't too awesome to wait, since he waited before he looked at. And nobody should be posting something that they couldn't be arsed to look at themselves. If you couldn't be bothered with finding out if it FPP material, then it is obviously not worth viewing for the rest of us. If you aren't ready to look at it, then you aren't ready to post it. That's pretty much the whole point of this whole community filter thing.
  • tell = til
  • iPud.
  • anatinus, I know what I'm going to say is going to make you roll your eyes and dismiss me as another Net Curmudgeon, but I gotta throw it in anyway: See the title up that? It says "Monkeyfilter", not "Monkey Free-for-all". As Mr K. has already said, there are exceptions to the one-link-per-day rule for awesome links. And while opinions may differ on what awesome is, Mr K. puts up a very objective standard: Does the FPPer even bother to check the FPP through before posting? It's not about the number of FPPs that go up every day. If there are very few, that's all right, because it's quality that should matter, or at least a certain amount of quality control by the person doing the posting. Accusing everyone of being fuddy-duddies because we object to rules being broken frivolously is not going to make this site any better or more fun.
  • Let's Ban Berek! No, wait, that's not what I meant at all....
  • Hmm, Monkeyfilter really *is* getting cranky lately. =(
  • Alnedra I didn't accuse everyone of being fuddy-duddies. Just pointing out that often fuddy-duddies can be right on par with the things they grumble about. It seems I'm in the minority and the lack of link-checking on FPPer's part sure is hard to defend. But it needed to be said, I thought. Sorry. Really, I didn't mean to stir the pot.
  • Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Fuddy-duddy. Now it looks strange, and sounds even stranger. LBB!
  • Let's Ban Berek! No, wait, that's not what I meant at all.... Sometimes I want to give Berek a great big hug, 'cuz he's so adorable.
  • A Ber-hug? Monkeyfilter: Let's ban Berek!
  • Dude, he had to wait tell he got home to even look at the link he posted himself. But even though he had to wait to find out how interesting the link was, for some reason he couldn't wait to post it? Actually I thought an iPod vibrator was as interesting and as ludricous enough in itself for me to justify the post. I didn't think that the site needed to be mined to reach some conclusion that the iFoo phenomenae had reached ridiculous proportions. I also think that fact alone made it terribly more interesting then the Fizz-Cup, a thread I still thoroughly enjoyed. Since I have posted twice and it has upset the balance of the chaos/law equilibrium (I heard three species dropped dead, and there have been dark stirrings in R’lyeh) I will refrain from posting for one week. I will continue to comment though, but in a limited fashion. This only , of course, considering this comment doesn't offend anyone and I get banned. I would also point out this device could work with any 1/8th inch audio jack, but then it wouldnt be an iPoop gadget.
  • but why haven't they named it the iVbrator?
  • Wow, this place is getting cranky these days. Have we forgotten our cure-all for these situations?
  • Banning Berek?
  • May I also give out a peace offering (which includes hugging kittens, one of which is called Koko)? However, glamajamma, I would like to say in Mofi's defense that we don't clamp down too hard on people who post twice in a day. Yes, we make objections and whinge and complain... but we don't claim that they are somehow criminally insane and/or incredible morons for breaking the rules. So I don't understand why we are still regarded as too harsh or anal retentive?
  • Yeah, clam out glamapajama - you criminally insane incredible moron. Jesus.

  • ))))))!
  • I am still somewhat in the dark about the whys and wherefors of many monkey rules. As I posted here, at the end of the thread, I am curious to know more about what is and is not appropriate.
  • I am still somewhat in the dark about the whys and wherefors of many monkey rules WE ARE AWARE. PLEASE BE QUIET.
  • It's appropriate when I can't be bothered making a decision so I ignore it completely. It's inappropriate when I'm in a bad mood.
  • Do bribes help?
  • Always.
  • *inverts empty pockets* Got nuthin. Would you take flattery instead?
  • The most wonderful pod of this thread is roryk's picture!
  • *basks*
  • *fans roryk, feeds peeled grapes*
  • *feigns self-deprecating modesty. fails.*
  • Ooh, a headphone splitter. I need one of those. Maybe I should get this just for that.
  • When the iPod was being invented, I doubt they had this in mind.
  • HAHA double post revisited! In your face Berek!
  • iGasm thing.
  • err, the above NSFW. Sorry
  • It seems like about every six months there's a story about iPod copyright infringement for lascivious purposes. I have yet to determine if it's the same company churning out new versions of the same iPod accessory, or if it's different people who stumble into the idea on their own. At any rate, it's definitely more efficient to just keep bumping the original post onto the front page. (Now that I think about it, that could apply to a lot of other posts as well...)
  • Schtum!
  • iBrator Software app for the iPhone. It's for you.
  • Oh, dogs! Can't catch my breath for laughing. It was announced yesterday that the IPhone just came down $200. Just read this: Apple Offers $100 Credit, Apology to IPhone Buyers Apple Inc. Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs apologized to customers who paid full price for the iPhone before he cut the cost by $200 yesterday. In an open letter on the company's Web site, Jobs said users who bought the phone before the discount and got no other rebate will receive $100 in credit at Apple's retail or online stores. ``Our early customers trusted us, and we must live up to that trust,'' Jobs wrote today. ``We apologize for disappointing some of you, and we are doing our best to live up to your high expectations of Apple.'' Rest of article here Sorry, IMO, anybody that stood in line for hours waiting for this POS probably deserves the $200 stupidity tax.
