The Head of Vecna

more prosaically, the Eye of Vecna and Hand of Vecna. Vecna does not, however, appear in the Guide to the Gods (over 2850 listed.....but not Vecna *grin*)

  • I wasn't really worried since he was alone and I knew that there was no way he could CUT HIS OWN HEAD OFF. Obviously not a Gilbert & Sullivan fan.

  • I prefer the Gazebo story myself. Our DM's favorite story was about the kid who left a pile of gold at a fork in the road, even adding a piece, because he thought it was some weird enchanted cairn.

  • The pile of gold was obviously a trick. There is no way a pile of gold would avoid making a wandering monster roll long enough to remain there for our geek to find. Get an axe.
