  • PWNED! I remember about 5 years ago there was an Internet Thing going around where you were supposed to stare long and hard at this picture of an alleyway to try to figure out what was "special" about it. After about a minute, a figure would speedily and jerkily move from the far end of the picture to right in front of the camera, and then look up; this took about a second. It's a woman in a white dress made up to look ghostly, IIRC. Scared the crap out of me... it's all about the startle response, because the thing comes out of nowhere very quickly after you've been staring at an unchanging picture for some time... but it's kind of fun to pass on. If you have a cruel streak. (Heh, heh.)
