Festevil! An international noise festival--make some noise wherever you are at 6:06 pm local time on June 6th! "send in your noise!! - 06/06/06 only happens once every 100 years! - make the most of it! - think of your noise as both contributing to and vanquishing evil, simultaneously!"

the best quote on the site is: "WE NEED MORE EVIL WOMEN!!"

  • WARNING: Has sound! Sorry, had my speakers off before.
  • My husband and I met on 2/2/2, and married on 4/4/4. And now 6/6/6 is upon us. The world is coming to a head! I meant "end." Yes, that's what I meant.
  • I heard there is a casting call out for evil women? I'm highly qualified and eager to serve!
  • Can you make a lot of noise? ;)
  • I'm told I do ;)
  • 6:06pm? You mean 18:06? For the sake of the rest of the world, do it at 6:06, not 18:06. 18:06 would defeat the purpose.
  • That's your choice, digital_me. I can see some advantages to doing this later in the day, but if you're a stickler for the 24 hr clock then by all means.
  • Well I think New Zealand gets there first so perhaps someone from there can tell us if the world ends or not?
  • Slayer!
  • I'll be sure to let you know if NZ suddenly disappears in a puff of brimstone.
  • 6:06AM is gonna be a major pain to most of the people to whom this would appeal in the first place. It'd just be like a flash mob alarm clock.
  • What would be cool is to drive right up to a time zone boundary.... stand on the west side and you can peer down into the chasm of hell after the east side vanishes at 6:06. And if someone can upload pics, that would be awesome.
  • Makes me so happy to live on the Left Coast of the USofA and get those extra hours. Of course, it made Y2K totally anti-climactic, but maybe this'll be better. If not, there's always December 21, 2012, currently the top rated Sign of the Apocalypse at "Armageddon or Not?" Also, notably, 06/06/06 has been rated more often than anything except Global Warming, as well as attracting enough over-serious discussion for me to have to shut down comments. And it's also the most common search term used to find the site. If the world doesn't end that day, I may have to shut down the site. :)
  • Coming next year: Don't miss 07/07/07!
  • We should've made a bigger thing of Cinco DeMayo last year (05/05/05). Then we'd have a bill going through the USofA Congress today to make Spanish our official language.
  • Jose can ju seeeeee...
