My favourite is #602: Skull-shaped lyre.
-
Nifty! I hadn't seen the musical instruments or stage design stuff before. And doesn't everything sound so much prettier in Italian?
-
But I think my favorite is the vaguely naughty-looking Distillatore.
-
You missed the "Aerial Screw". 3 foot high club commence!
-
I like the flapping wing experiment, it reminds me of how some folk said bees couldn't fly. I figure a theatrical machine must do everything in stages.

Those magnificent bees in their flying machines...

Leonardo could have solved the problem of the Tibetan cliff Bees.
-
He would have probably have built an exact replica of the cliff, that you could walk into, but which had bees in it. And wheels driven by cams, no doubt.
-
And cannons. For the bees. And the cannons fire honey. and rotate around, so you don't have to climb around to get the honey. Really big honey cannons.
-
*looks around for GramMa* *cough* "Really big honey cannons!" *looks left, looks right, shakes watch*
-
Leonardo built a cliff and said he'd go to live in it if he was allowed to paint the walls while wearing Levi overalls Burp-a Shave [For Gurkha Shave, try the thread on Nepali bees...]

Those magnificent Italians in their flying machines! Nice collection of models here.
