"Superman knows he’s got what we want":
So, we all know that comic books routinely objectify the female physique in order to appeal to the adolescent male demographic, yawn, old news, moving along and all that...
BUT, I've never seen the argument so eloquently presented as in this Livejournaler's alternate universe comic book covers.

/notices a theme in common with his last two FPPs Be sure to tune in tomorrow for the next installment of Nickdanger's Today In Penis News.

Great big huge wobbly dangly ones.
-
I was unaware that comic books routinely objectify the female physique. Can you please provide some more examples? Preferably as a slide show?
-
Sort of a double.
-
I always wondered why these tight-tighted men never had any, well, contour down there. I blame the steroids.
-
Sort of a double. Not a double if the previous post was in comment, rather than FPP, form. There is considerable precedent for this, as my lawyer would be happy to point out to you if you'd care to SEE ME IN COURT MOFO!!!
-
That's why it is sorta double. Feel free to have your people contact my people and we'll see if we can get this thing sorted out.

'Perhaps A Batarang Will Loosen Those Lips' NAB SHUFFLE SHUFFLE Laugh? I nearly died! jaypinkerton Deserves an FPP of its own. Of course it would get an automatic sort of a double status.
-
Funny how this FPP goes so well with the one just below it.
-
Re: jaypinkerton Man, I remember Cracked magazine being for kids. What happened? (oh, and the Batman origin? Brilliant.
-
Cracked magazine Ahem, I believe you'll find that's "mazagine."

Back in the fifties, they thought they saw sex everywhere in comics. Today we don't need to see depictions of 'objects' to arouse our mammalian interest... Today we are treated to depictions of actual human flesh, which of course always implies sentience. Therefore, outlines of external human organs are NOT just depictions of 'objects', but rather, they deserve more respect.
