I'd only ever dug around the audio part of archive.org, but the other day I started poking around the "moving images" part, and lookie what I found!

  • I really like the Fleischer cartoons with Cab Calloway in one the earliest instances of rotocoping.
  • Wow. The "I'll be glad when you're dead" Betty Boop cartoon has Louis Armstrong as a disembodied head chasing people. I'd be TERRIFIED!

  • Someone hand Nickdanger a towel. And excellent post, stomper. Hot damn... uncensored old-skool 'toons galore! You realize that the sanitized versions of cartoons they play on Saturdays now even have the opening and closing credits shorn off? No wonder the kids these days don't respect copyright law.
