Bad Boy for Love Dead at 58 Pete Wells, the slide guitarist, songwriter and founder member of the Australian hard rock group Rose Tattoo, has died. RIP, matey.
  • Shit.
  • NOt someone I know of. Any on-line music?
  • Yes, links, if you've got 'em. Don't know Wells, but I love slide guitar. I'd like to check him out.
  • I found some soundclips here and here.
  • Thanks mandyman - i loved Rose tatt but didn't realise that I also knew his music from the first link you posted. 70's Oz music slowly starts to reach the 'era'. Could count 'Shirley' I guess but can you count accidents as opposed to age/disease linked mortality?
  • Never hear of them or him. Never listened to him, them so not important.
  • Classy.
  • Lott hing never hear. muss be shit
  • You knew him, I take it?
  • That was snarkless, BTW, I is just wondering!
  • Wasn't Angry Anderson in Rose Tattoo? He who played Ironbar in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome? And he who sang the background song when Scott & Charlene (played by Kylie Minogue) got married in Neighbours? *checks* Yes he was. Shame about this chap - never heard any of his music.
  • You knew him, I take it? Not well. I know the other Rosy Tatts guitar guy, Rockin' Rob Riley (!), better (saw him last Saturday night).
  • muteboy correct.
  • Angry still sings, does club gigis down Camden way if anybody cares. Oh and has anyone seen the new Doc Neeson band live? Anywhere?
  • I know the other Rosy Tatts guitar guy, Rockin' Rob Riley(!), better Mmm, interestink!
  • Yeah, the "still alive" one!
  • "Oh and has anyone seen the new Doc Neeson band live? Anywhere?" I have interesting tales to tell about Doc Neeson and the Angels from a gig I did sound @ quite some years ago. Only to be told in person over beers, though. Two words: Oxygen tank.
