A recent bug report to Mozilla demonstrates some...privacy issues.

  • Sad thing is, "Well, you must've done something wrong" probably appears as a response at least once in all of those*. *I use FF for my internet porn and MonkeyFilter needs, and I love it, but damn if their support don't become a buncha defensive weenies the second you suggest that there may be a problem.
  • The attachment on "Lack of sex is interfering with my ability to triage bugs" has caused a regression... in my groin...
  • Hey, in my building we have a vending machine that has been upgraded last week for the new Euro coins (ok, I'm in Europe). Unfortunately, they forgot about backwards compatibility...so it won't accept any old Belgian francs. But we get those new coins only on January 1st, so the entire machine is now useless for 4 months. I always love to see complete and utter lack of planning exectuted so beautifully. I would have to imagine this would have been pretty common, any Euromonkeys out there recall any changover misadventures?
  • A lot of the wacky stuff in the mozilla bugzilla are from 2000/2001 when it was a lot of in-jokes. At some point in the past there was a website or blog that had a big list of these bizarro bugzilla PRs.
  • Rhomboid, that's what I was thinking of too. I saw that bug that I posted in the main link, which reminded me of the list (maybe 6-9 months ago?) but googling didn't pull it up. I blasted around and found links to those few goodies above, but they're not a patch on the ones I remember. The ones about the vending machine and the like are obviously in-jokes, but I do like the one about Mozilla lacking a kitchen sink.
  • Recent tol Mozilla and still learning Use ff mainly (now after disastrous few months) still have others in 'catcher' position; every so often. !and hell if the machine wont accept euros........ I got an australian vending machine to give me a $1.40 coke the other night cos all i had in my pocket was a loony and it fitted the dollar slot....... yeah ok!!!! Then again the same machine also gave me a $1.40 coke in aussie currency for 40c maybe time i talked to the unions.............
  • These were lolworthy. Does anyone know that Red Hat bug marked DONOTFIX where the submitter and developer ended up having a massive flamewar in the comments section?
