The biggest collection of full cigarette packs in the world
(according to Igor anyway). Search by country, check out the numbers collected from each brand or just browse the collection.
I revisited some obscure brands I've tried, Golf Lights were so nasty a friend couldn't give them away. The Chinggis Khan from Mongolia look interesting though, and there's an appealing simplicity to the idea of the Japanese brand Cigarette.

Better than smoking them, I guess ...

Wow. Nicely documented obsession / compulsion! It seems like it should be on CD-ROM, like when the complete works of Shakespeare or Encyclopedia were on CD-ROM. Maybe Philip-Morris should mirror it. "I was advised by my doctor to take up smoking. He said I wasn't getting enough tar." --Steve Martin

I love that there are so many cigarettes named after the biggest cigarette hater. Full flavor irony!
-
Guess which one's my favorite.

Actually I think it's a toss-up between this and this.

I'm guessing Igor doesn't get laid much.

Quit the damned things 5 years and 21 days ago. Sure could use one right now...

"I'm guessing Igor doesn't get laid much." "What hump?"

Funny this was posted... about 10 minutes ago I posted this to ask.mefi. Basically I'm trying to find a source of these Indonesian stogies in the U.S. It's not that I can't find them, but I claim defeat by the bizarre web of restrictions, shady retailers, and poor payment choices.

Fuck I miss smoking. I mean, I don't get cravings that much anymore -- it's been about two years, now -- but I really loved smoking. Minus the chronic bronchitis and the cancer and the death and the inability to climb a flight of stairs without feeling it, I mean.

That's just the nicotine talkin'.

I hear ya mct. Sounds like you used to smoke for the same reasons I used to: smoking was fun. But looking at these packs makes me think one of the reasons I had fun smoking was because I was a sucker for creative marketing/packaging.

I think it'd be funny if burglars broke in and smoked them all... Good for all of you ex-smokers. My mom quit 30 years--I asked for that for my birthday--and I've never been prouder of her. Not that I don't have my own bad habits, so I'm not dissing smokers in any way, but good on you all!

quit after 30 years, that is. I really do use preview, honestly.
