Awesome. That show was nerdvana for me.
-
Hey! Good news!
-
Quite the geekgasm on that forum. Those guys aren't going to be able to see straight for weeks.

Me neither!

Ooooooh, I hope it does happen!

I just read through that thread at Billy West's site, and at the end, he posts "I'm getting different bits of info that say this news may not be the case. There IS something up Futurama project wise but but it might be the DVD's still. It's hard to keep up with things--but I'll try to do better. Sorry, Billy" Blah.

I find Futurama intellectually interesting because I don't find it funny. The jokes, such as they are, almost always strike me as weak at best. The interesting part is that given Futurama's relationship to other shows I do find quite amusing, and the fact that many people who love Futurama seem to have similar senses of humor to myself, it would appear obvious that I should enjoy Futurama. Curious.

it was never as good as early "Simpsons"...but that's nearly impossible. Bender is the shiznit.
-
I'm gonna build my own MoFi...with drinking, Blackjack, and hookers! On second thought, forget the MoFi and the Blackjack.
-
As long as I get to keep my fing-longer.
-
They call 'em fingers but I never see 'em fing! /Otto

Nerdvana, indeed. While one has to possess a basic education to get many Simposons jokes and references, almost every single frame of Futurama is filled with such geeky in-jokes that it's embarassing to find oneself laughing at it. Still, I do it! Ha!
-
Better than the Simpsons.
-
Early Futurama is better than late Simpsons, but not quite as good as Simpsons seasons 3-7ish. Those are comic GOLD. I loved the first few seasons of Futurama, but it did get stale pretty quickly. Too much Zoidberg.

You Die!
-
Some more Rastaman Hercules, you wanted?
-
More Morbo!!!
-
Morbo's head veins have always troubled me.
-
Looks like you haters win again.
-
All glory to the Hypnotoad! I think Futurama is better than the Simpson's, too.
-
You're all right, kid.

-
Good news, everyone! It's a LEGO Planet Express HQ and ship
