Friday Flash Fun - Splash Back
Drop the drips on the dots and splash lots of splots across game tops. totally not ripped off from MeFi
I've gotten to level 5. The drops don't "start over" so there's some strategy, but hell if I know what it is.
-
I got all the way to level 2! :op I think it's got something to do with calculating the trajectory of the slime as it explodes out of the burst square, and making sure it hits blobs which are one or two clicks away from bursting themselves. I had to stop playing, though, because I realized I could spend A LOT of time doing this, and I have work to do. Dammit.
-
Exploding blobs eject their blob projectiles for a limited number of 180-degree bouncebacks from the wall. The projectiles, when hitting a freshman blob turn it into a sophomore blob, and so on until the senior blobs explode and send off blob projectiles of their own. Strategy: Arm lesser blobs with greater powers, and start a chain reaction that will clear the board. Game rating: not so much. Sad personal observation: I took time to think about and write this post. I am such a loser. Mitigating factor: I am killing time until my dog needs to come in.

Level 13 beyotches!! *muscleman pose*

thank you for destroying any hopes I had of being productive today. I close my eyes and see little green blobs. *shakes fist at petebest* oh, and level 13, baby.
-
Old game, had it on my TI99-4A called chain reaction. Every square on a grid had a number, 0-4, and you took turns adding 1 to a square. The person who set off the chain reaction that took out the entire grid, hitting every square, won that round.

Psshhh. TI99-4A? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck. I had this game long before that fancy high-tech piece. Everyone was given a can of biscuit dough to fuck, and the last one to finish had to force-feed it to a gopher. TI99-4A Ruuuules. Car Wars and Munch Man are the most addictive games EVAR.
-
Manm, this flashes me back to my Tetris addiction. That old glazy-eyed, hyperfocused Zen feeling, baby.
-
It was Biscuit Dough Hands Man!

Well, when I was a kid PDP-11s were hard to hook up to your television set so...
-
Well back in myyyy dayyyy everybody walked 2 miles barefoot through the snow - uphill mind you! - just to get to Jimmy's house to play Defender on the Atari 7500! Now *that* was a good looking piece of shit! Um, but Pele's soccer on the 2600 did rock some major balls!
-
I remember my parents driving us to a friend's house to watch their brand new, cutting edge, super cool, unbelievably luxurious... colour tv.

Made it to Level 17. Nice diversion.
